Great Falls schools and the food bank are partnering up to give kids a safe place to eat this summer.

The summer feeding program starts June 9th goes to July 31st and offers free breakfast and lunch to kids 18 and under at the Paris Gibson Education Center. Director of Food Services Jennifer Spellman says there will also be activities and prizes for the kids and its important to give them a safe place to be this summer.

"So many kids don't have a place to go don't have things to do it's costly to do things. So hopefully we can bring this to our site and we're working with the food bank and they are working with transportation to get kids here. So I think it's important for kids to have a place to go a safe place to go and be fed well" said Spellman

Parents who are interested just need to bring their kids to the Paris Gibson Education Center and Spellman also says that they are constantly looking for volunteers so anyone who is interested should contact her at 268-4029.
