Standoff Ends Saturday Morning, 2 Arrested

GREAT FALLS - The fallout from yesterday's standoff that lasted into the early hours of Saturday morning. The standoff came to an end at 4:25am, and two arrests were made.

Robert Spearson and Shaudey Komeotis were arrested at the end of the standoff. Spearson is facing charges of a probation violation and failing to register as a violent offender. Komeotis has been charged with obstructing justice.

According to Great Falls Police, Spearson was observed at the 900 block of 6th Avenue North, and after sighting police, left his vehicle and began to run. Eventually the area was secured and placed on lock down. They had information to believe that Spearson was armed and dangerous, and after searching through several homes, they located him in a basement apartment on 10th Street North. The high risk unit made contact with him and arrested him without further conflict.
