Eight Saints and One Argo Named Outdoor All-American

Posted: Updated:
Eight Carroll Saints will return to Helena as All-American track & field athletes.

Stephen Delaney, Ben Cutler, Beaugh Meyer, Rhianna Grossman, Leah Esposito, Easton Padden, Laticia Howell and Kathleen Mulligan were all honored after competing at the NAIA Outdoor Track & Field National Championships in Alabama.

UGF Freshman Collin Wahl was also honored. Wahl was the lone representative for the Argos at nationals and will return to Great Falls as an All-American.

To earn All-American status, competitors must finish in the top eight in their events.

Wahl placed 7th in javelin while Padden placed 2nd in pole vault. Padden entered the weekend with three consecutive national titles under his belt. Padden won the 2013 Indoor & Outdoor pole vault competition and won the 2014 indoor competition earlier this school year. Carroll's Rhianna Grossman was 2nd in the steeple chase.
