ADF Celebrates Grand Opening

Posted: Updated:
GREAT FALLS - ADF group is known for its work in engineering. They contribute to the steel industry to the making and installing of structures such as buildings and bridges to name a couple. Today, the Quebec based company celebrated its grand opening of their facility in great facility.

General Manager Dan Rooney said "April of last year we broke ground here in Great Falls, and have steadily been progressing on our facility. We were operational at the end of January."

ADF in Great Falls hopes to have another addition by the end of 2014 that they feel is a necessity.

Rooney said that "the western part of the United States the industrial and commercial jobs require a certain coding and without a paint facility here we would be painting outside. So we really need a controlled environment to do that and there is not another paint facility like this within 1,000 miles."

And Great Falls is already benefiting from ADF's presence.

Rooney said of the growth, "we have eighty jobs, and they are good paying jobs, excellent benefits. You talk to the employees we have, we find they are extremely happy with the benefits package. It's not only Great Falls but it's the surrounding communities as well."

With the recent opening of the plant and the paint facility, job opportunities will be plenty for ADF.

Rooney said "we're eighty today, we'll probably ramp up to 160 and 200 with the paint facility. For a town the size of Great Falls, 65,000 people, 200 good paying, long term career jobs, that's fantastic."

And there is a reason Great Falls was chosen.

ADF CEO John Paschini said "we came down 2 years ago for the first time. Nice people, very energetic, so I said that's where we'll put the plant."
