One Man Shot, Suspect In Custody In Spokane Valley

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - One man was shot and after a brief search, the suspect was taken into custody in Spokane Valley Thursday afternoon. 

The shooting happened near the intersection of Cataldo and Adams, just east of Evergreen. Deputies say the man who was shot was hit in the back and has non life-threatening injuries and the suspect is in custody. 

The man shot was working on a construction site near the house where the suspect was arrested. At this point, detectives are working to figure out the motive behind the shooting.
