Billings Native McIver at 12 Over After Opening Round at U.S. Open

The U.S. Open gold tournament teed off earlier today from Pinehurst, NC.  Brandon McIver, the Billings native and University of Oregon golfer ended the day shooting 12 strokes over par which tied for the worst score after round 1 of play.  It was not the best of days for the Billings West graduate who will look to be better tomorrow.

As for the leader, Martin Kaymer from Germany is in front, sitting with a three stroke lead and at five under par after round one.
