GREAT FALLS -
A speed chase taking place late Thursday night in Cascade County involving deputies and a twenty-five year old male on a motorbike.
According to Sheriff Bob Edwards, deputies were dispatched to the 40th Street South area of Great Falls. The complainant reported that he possibly heard gunshots. As deputies tried to approach Corey James Lampert, he failed to stop for them and a low speed pursuit took place. Ultimately, Lampert crashed the motorcycle in the parking lot of MSU College of Technology. He suffered minor injuries and was taken to the Benefis ER, treated, and released. At the scene, a handgun, methamphetamines, and marijuana were found on the suspect.
He is facing a total of ten charges including two felony possession of dangerous drugs charges.
