Glen Cislo Takes the Stand in Retrial

Posted: Updated:
GREAT FALLS - The retrial of Glen Cislo continued Wednesday. The prosecution called two witnesses to the stand this morning. The first one was the alleged victim's mother who said the situation has been tough on the family. The other was the doctor who examined the then fifteen year old and heard her description.

Dr. Mary Pat Hanson said, "she told me that it was painful. She told me that there was blood."

The defense though countered that sex may not have resulted in the injuries the alleged victim described.

Hanson said of the injuries, "it's consistent with blunt force penetration trauma."

The prosecution rested their case and the defense presented theirs in the afternoon calling only one witness to the stand.

Cislo did admit to several errors in judgement that evening.

"i purchased the alcoholic beverage and poured it in the water bottle walked back and handed it to her."

Cislo says that he only bought one beverage though and said that besides a kiss, that he said lasted all of five seconds, nothing sexual occurred.

Prosecuting attorneys grilled Cislo on why he wasn't forthcoming with authorities and why he tried protecting himself.

The defense rested their case and closing arguments will take place tomorrow morning.
