A Surprise Return

Posted: Updated:
GREAT FALLS -

And we have seen the story before, but today it hits home as a heart warming story for you tonight as a military Chaplin returned home early to surprise his family. That was the happy scene earlier this evening when military Chaplin Captain Keith Manry came back from over seas early and surprised his 4 kids. Captain Manry was deployed to Bagram air field in Afghanistan where he was a hospital Chaplin at Craig Joint Theater Hospital. With the help of Fudruckers, captain Manry was able to surprise his kids on his return.

"And so we we're talking about how we can surprise the kids and we knew that if we took them to the airport they wouldn't be surprised. And Fudruckers is their favorite place to eat in town so we decided to bring them here and do this," Says Manry.

Captain Manry says he worked a lot with our wounded over in Afghanistan but he found it very fulfilling to work with locals who were in need as well while he was over seas. And he added that he was very happy to be back home with his family.
