GREAT FALLS, Mont. (June 24, 2014) - For the second straight night, the Great Falls Voyagers walked-off on the Billings Mustangs, and again it was Zach Fisher providing the heroics, singling up the middle with two down in the ninth to give the home team a 6-5 win.

With the game tied at five, it looked like the Voyagers (6-3) were headed for extra-innings for the first time this season as they were down to their final out in the ninth. But for the second straight night Fisher came up with a clutch knock, bringing Ryan Leonards home with an RBI single to clinch a series win and 3-1 homestand for Great Falls.

Trailing 2-0 entering the fourth, the Great Falls offense exploded against Mustang starter Luke Moran. The righty retired the first two of the inning and then the Voyagers went to work. Zach Fish and Louie Lechich both singled, then Jackson Laumann blasted his second homer of the year to push Great Falls in front 3-2.

Jake Peter followed the homer with a double to deep right, eventually scoring on an RBI single by Leonards. The fifth and final tally of the frame came when Chevy Clarke scampered home on a passed ball.

The Voyagers kept their 5-2 advantage until Billings (4-4) tallied three in the eighth on the Great Falls bullpen. With two outs, reliever Jace Fry made a throwing error that allowed two unearned runs to score to tie the game. The lefty recovered to toss a scoreless ninth, and collect his first win as a professional.

In the victory, Great Falls collected a season high 13 hits, breaking out of their offensive struggles from the first three contests of the series, which saw the home team hit just .181 overall.

The Voyagers will now hit the road for the next two nights, travelling to Helena for a two-game set with the Brewers. In Wednesday night's series opener, Great Falls will send right-hander Brandon Brennan (0-0, 0.00) to the mound, while Missoula will counter with southpaw Luis Ortega (0-1, 23.62). First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. and coverage will begin at 6:50 on 1400 AM KXGF and gfvoyagers.com.
