SCRAPS house lost animals after the Fourth

Posted: Updated:

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. - The Fourth of July is always a tough time for pets and pet owners.

The fifth of July is the busiest day for S.C.R.A.P.S, they say it has taken in twice as many animals as any other day.

Most animals are spooked by the loud noises from fireworks and end up running away. They run away from the noise and at that point they can't find their way home.

KHQ has received multiple Facebook post and messages about missing dogs already from this weekend. We have provided a link that has reports on either found or lost pets.
