Former CMR Football Coach, Jack Johnson, Honored With Field Naming and Retirement Party

Former CMR football coach Jack Johnson was honored Saturday afternoon with the unveiling of the new "Jack Johnson Pride Field" at CMR high school. The field is now named in honor of Johnson who coached the Rustlers for 41 years, leading them to 350 wins and 13 state championships.

After the field naming ceremony, hundreds of people gathered to honor Johnson and pay their respects at his retirement party at Montana ExpoPark. Former and current players along with many people from the CMR and Great Falls community were in attendance to celebrate with Johnson on his storied coaching career.

Johnson and his wife Rosann were gifted with a shotgun and 2 round trip tickets to China as a thank you for their service to the Great Falls community and CMR high school football.

Johnson gave a speech thanking his former players and Rustler community for a great 41 years.
