Posted: Updated:
KENNEWICK, WA - The Tri-Cities Fever announced the signing of quarterback Brandyn “Jamal” Londry-Jackson (6’2”, 206 lbs.) from Appalachian State University for the 2015 season on Tuesday.

Londry-Jackson was a Walter Payton Award finalist, given to the best offensive player in FCS. He was also named National Offensive Performer of the Week twice and set 5 school records and led the Southern Conference in passing yards with 3,278 yards his junior season.

Londry-Jackson is the son of Greg Jackson, a former LSU all-American who was a 3rd round draft pick by the New York Giants and played safety in the NFL for 12 seasons. He is now an assistant coach for the San Francisco 49ers. His mother is Kathy Londry, who resides in Atlanta.

The Fever also inked a contract with Kicker Geoff Boyer (5’10”, 170 lbs.) from Middle Tennessee State.  Boyer is an accomplished indoor kicker who has spent the past few seasons in the AFL kicking for the Pittsburgh Power in 2012, and then the Tampa Bay Storm this past season. Boyer has also played for the Albany Panthers and Columbus Lions in the PIFL and brings extensive indoor experience and knowledge to the Fever in 2015.

Boyer is known for great field goal distance, but also the ability to drop kick the ball through the uprights with great accuracy. Boyer is from Marietta, Georgia and went to Walton High School.

Additionally the Fever signed Defensive Lineman Aaron Bellazin (6’2”, 250 lbs.) from the University of North Texas.  The Mean Green lineman led Conference-USA in sacks his senior season and was All-Conference 2nd Team at Defensive End. Aaron is from Everman, Texas and attended Everman High.
