Carroll College head football coach Mike Van Diest announced the Fighting Saints first two signings for the 2015 freshman class.

Isaiah Cech, a linebacker from Helena High School, and Willy Clements an offensive lineman, from Holy Family High School in Broomfield, Colorado, have committed to the Fighting Saints football program and will enroll in the fall of 2015; both players will be entering their senior year of high school this fall.

Isaiah Cech- linebacker, 6'0”, 270 lbs. As a junior, Cech was named First Team All-Conference and was selected to the All-State Second Team. He has lettered the past two years in football and last spring in track. He also ski races in the winter. Isaiah is a member of the National Honor Society and carries a 3.5 GPA.

Willy Clements- offensive line, 6'3”, 280 lbs. Clements has already lettered three years in football, wrestling and track. He was named to the All-Conference Team in football during the 2013 season and this past winter was a state qualifier in wrestling. He is the team captain for both football and wrestling. Willy has played all three positions on the offensive line (center, guard, and tackle).

“We are very excited to have early commitments from both of these young men. They have been on our radar for quite some time and they both felt very comfortable with the academic and football programs here are Carroll College. I hope that these two early commitments will trigger a few more players in the Rocky Mountain Region to jump on board,” Van Diest said.

The Fighting Saints are coming off a 12-2 season in which they captured their 13th Frontier Conference Championship in 14 seasons.

Carroll College's first game of the 2014 season is Sept. 6 at Southern Oregon, the following week, the Fighting Saints host Montana Tech at Nelson Stadium Sept. 13.
