Funeral Preparations are underway for Fallen Deputy

GREAT FALLS -

 Deputy Joe Dunn who was killed last Thursday in the line of duty will be laid to rest tomorrow at Highland Cemetery.

The funeral will begin at 1:00pm at the Montana Expo Park Four Seasons Arena. Sheriff Bob Edwards is expected to make a statement as well as remarks from Dunn's friends, family, and fellow officers.

After the funeral the procession will start between 2:00pm and 2:30pm.

The following is the dedicated procession route:

- after the funeral we will exit the expo park through the north gate onto the NW Bypass east bound to 3rd st. NW.

- turning southbound on to 3rd St NW to central ave W turning East to go over the 1st ave north bridge.

- from the 1st ave n bridge, we will turn right on to river drive and up and over flag hill (overlook drive) to 10th ave so where we will merge to go eastbound

- we will then proceed to 13th st. South and proceed southbound on 13th to 33rd ave s where we will turn left and proceed eastbound to highland cemetery.
