Ash Pleased With Prukop's Debut, Confident in His Signal Caller

Posted: Updated:
Dakota Prukop made his first start of his MSU career this past Saturday at Arkansas State but lost 37-10 to Arkansas State.

Prukop won the quarterback job over his fellow teammates in fall camp and head coach Rob Ash thinks it's only a matter of time before he starts winning games against Bobcat opponents.

"I thought Dakota did a great job. We were a little shaky to start but I expected that. But then we played ourselves into the game and he was 7 for his first 8 at one point and he got better and better as the game went on so I think he's going to be just fine," said Ash.
