Saints Already in Game Mode Prepping for Southern Oregon

Posted: Updated:
HELENA - While many college football teams kicked off their seasons this past weekend, the Carroll Saints have to wait until this weekend to start theirs. And there's only four more days left until the Saints open their season at  #22 Southern Oregon. The Saints come into 2014 with a ton of depth and experience, but honestly they're just ready to get back on the field and play against someone other than themselves.

"It's an awesome feeling," said Saints senior linebacker Sean Blomquist. "It seems like so long ago that we played the last game in Cumberlands. But it's exciting, nerve-racking at some point because it's my senior year and it's gone by so fast already. But I'm excited."

"It's been a long off season working out, but we're just really excited to get out there and play a game," said Saints junior quarterback Mac Roche. "Southern Oregon, they fly around. They have a very fast team, and they'll bring pressure, and they're a great team so I think it'll be a really fun game."
