Dreams of a state title went unfulfilled in Bozeman as none of the area's four AA schools were able to bring home either a team or individual state title.

The CMR boys came the closest, finishing tied for 3rd place with a two day total score of 632, which was 24 strokes behind first place Billings West. Capital finished fourth, Great Falls High 7th and Helena High in 8th.

As for the girls, Great Falls High was the top placing team tying for 6th place. Helena High finished in 9th, CMR 10th and Capital 11th. Billings West also won the girls title with a score of 682.

As far as individual placers are concerned, Capital's Tevin Lewis finished tied for 5th on the boys side with a two day total score of 150. Senior's Sean Benson won the title with a score of 145.

On the girls side, the top area placer was Helena High's Maddie Trent who shot a combined score of 161 which was good for 7th place. Glacier's Teigan Avery won the title in a playoff after registering a 151.
