Spring Meadow Resources's Staff Brings in Their "Best Friend"

Posted: Updated:
HELENA -

Ever heard of Animal Therapy?  Well, the Spring Meadow Resource staff took the day to bring in their furry friends, to play with the clients.  The outcome was joyful for everyone.  The clients got to enjoy something they wouldn't normally get to do, the staff got some down time playing with their dogs, and the dogs themselves couldn't get enough.

Some schools have 'puppy rooms' during exam weeks so students can step away from the stress of finals, some work places allow their employees to bring in their pets, and the VA treats veterans with PTSD with horse therapy.

"Its just a great way to loose yourself for a few minutes, to just forget" says Day Specialist Coordinator, Mary Ulrich who has even brought in a goat so that clients could bottle feed it.

HELENA, Mont.- Vandalism is running rampant throughout the Helena Walking Mall. So far, 25 different spots have been hit, including a piece of history. The yellow, 1800s era trolly car is one of the most notable victims. The graffiti first made its appearance on Friday. The vandal has continued to add to the mess since then.
