All season long Griz Head Coach Mick Delaney has talked about wanting his team to play their best football in November and December. It seems he has got his wish as the Griz have outscored their opponents 113-24 in the last five halves of play.

"Momentum is always important whether people want to admit it or not, when you are playing well you usually continue to play well and i think we have the ability to play even better than we have in the last couple games," said Junior Linebacker Kendrick Van Ackeren.

After the Griz fell to Eastern 36-26 about a month ago Coach Delaney had a message for his team.

"I can still remember in the locker room telling our guys to keep their heads top there's still a lot more football we may be back here before it's all said and done and here we are," said delaney.

Their has been no love lost between the Griz and Eagles in the last few years and a match up in the playoffs will certainly get both teams revved up.

"It's similar to the Bobcats, playing Eastern, they have gotten us the last three times so we want to go over there and badly badly get a win," said Griz Quarterback Jordan Johnson.

"It's exciting and I have only played against them once but it's exciting to go back there and get a chance to beat them on the red turf," said Van Ackeren.

The Griz offense has looked it's best all year after going more up tempo and zone read based in the last few weeks.

"It's kind of what I have always done, this kind of an offense, it's why I came to Montana to be in this offense and I just think it's helps us overall in all positions," said Johnson.

The defense has looked their best in the past few weeks as well as the starters have only given up seven points in the last two games.

"I think it's just the intensity we have been playing with, we try to play with the same intensity every week but after that Eastern game and against the Bobcats we just came out with a re-energized feel to us and I think everyone was doing their job a little bit better," said Van Ackeren.

Should be a great match up between Big Sky foes, kickoff is set for 2:30 mountain time.
