Carroll Women Look to End Skid Against Lewis-Clark State

Posted: Updated:
HELENA - The Carroll College women are still nationally ranked despite two tough losses over the weekend. And this week they will look to rebound on the road. The Saints begin the two-game road trip in Lewiston, Idaho where they will take on 13th-ranked Lewis-Clark State. Carroll dropped two spots to 21 after losing to 10th ranked MSU Northern and newly ranked UGF. Head coach Rachelle Sayers says rebounding will be the key to ending their two-game skid, especially since they were out-rebounded 79-to-63 in their two losses at home. The Saints have actually had more success on the road this conference-season, going 2-0 to begin Frontier play. So they're hoping that their road warrior spirit will help them get back on track.

"We've been pretty good on the road this year," said Sayers. "It's not a strange place for us. I think our kids like to be on the road. They're a lot more focused, we have a lot of control over their day, and what they do with it. So I'm excited to get on the road and get going again."
