Great Falls Father and Son Making Trip to Super Bowl

Posted: Updated:
While many of us will watch the Super Bowl on TV, one Great Falls father and son combo is making the trip to Glendale, Arizona to cheer their favorite team on.

Seth Swingley and his dad Dave won the right to buy tickets for the big game at face value by winning an NFL ticket lottery last fall. They knew their Seahawks had a good chance to make it back to the Super Bowl, and after the stunning come-from-behind win over the the Packers in the NFC Title game, it became a reality.

Father and son will leave for Glendale on Friday. Seth says he's so excited he doesn't know if he'll be able to sleep tonight. And he's so happy he gets to share this with his dad.

"It's awesome. He's been a life-long fan but has never been to a game. I've been to one Seahawk game when it was in the Kingdome. But for his first game to be the Super Bowl, that's just awesome," Swingley says.

The Swingleys will also take in the Phoenix Open while they are in the area. Seth says his flight leaves early Monday morning so he's not sure how much celebrating he'll do if the Hawks win.
