Four Conrad Seniors Sign on NLI Day

Posted: Updated:
CONRAD - About 10 percent of the Senior class in Conrad signed National Letters of Intent on Wednesday to play college sports next year at a Signing Day event hosted by the school.

Shane Larson and Tristen Diedrich will play football at Rocky Mountain and Montana Western. Krista Judisch will join Rocky Mountain's volleyball team while Taylour Russell committed to Griz rodeo.

It was a day of relief for these Seniors, because now they've officially made one of the biggest decisions they will ever have to, and say it felt pretty darn good to reap the benefits of their hard work over the last four years.

"I'm really excited. It's just cool to know I have the opportunity to play at the next level and not that many people get that," Judisch said.

"I know I want to do rodeo, I knew that's what I needed to do but I didn't know where. There are so many different opportunities in Montana to do that and I guess, it's just a huge relief," added Russell.

"It felt good knowing that I'm going to go and play college football and keep going. Sports aren't over yet. Four more years," Larson said.

"It felt good, a lot of people came and watched and it feels good to be going to the next level," added Diedrich
