Rustlers Preparing for Crosstown, Late Season Run

Posted: Updated:
GREAT FALLS - The CMR Boys are in need of wins to improve their seeding come play-in game time. Right now, the Rustlers are 1-6 in Eastern Conference play, tied with Butte for last place.

Coach Cislo's team knows there is no better time than Thursday night to start their climb in the standings. However, CMR will have to play much better than they did in the first crosstown meeting this season which Great Falls High won 73-45. The Rustlers say it starts with trying to contain the Bison's potent offensive attack.

"We have got to be consistent especially on defense and we've got to shutdown all the scorers Great Falls High has and we have to be consistent in what we do on offense too," says Rustlers Sr. guard Zach Harper.

"We just have to 'D' up and help out on Howard and Vining especially. So, if we do that, I think we can make it close," adds Rustlers Sr. forward Zach Johnson.

Tip-off for Thursday night's game is scheduled for 7:30 at Great Falls High.
