Carroll Football Releases 2015 Schedule

The Carroll College football team begins its 2015 slate at Nelson Stadium against Southern Oregon, the defending NAIA National Champions, on Sept. 5.The game is the first of a ten-game Frontier Conference Schedule that includes home games against Rocky Mountain, Eastern Oregon, Montana Tech and MSU-Northern.

After opening the season against SOU, the Saints travel to Butte to take on the Orediggers on Sept. 12, before hosting Rocky on Sept. 19 for homecoming weekend.

In week four the Saints travel to Dillon to face Montana-Western on Sept. 26.

Carroll's bye week comes on Oct. 3 before facing both Oregon Schools in back-to-back weeks. The Saints face Eastern Oregon at home on Oct. 10, and on Oct. 17, travel to face Southern Oregon for the fifth time in two seasons.

Carroll then hosts back-to-back home games. Montana Tech comes to Nelson Stadium on Oct. 24, and the Saints play host to MSU-Northern on Halloween day.

Carroll closes the regular season with two road trips. First, the Saints head to Billings to face Rocky Mountain on Nov. 7, then, they travel to the Treasure Valley to meet the College of Idaho on Nov. 14.

"The Frontier Conference is the toughest in the country and it shows when you have two of the top teams in country playing on the first weekend," head coach Mike Van Diest Said. "We look forward to having Nelson Stadium packed for Southern Oregon. It will be an exciting start to a tough schedule."

The Saints open spring football on March 20. The Carroll spring scrimmage is scheduled for Saturday, April 11. It will be a dual scrimmage with the University of Montana.
