Bighorns Look to Clinch First Round Series Friday at Home

Posted: Updated:

Helena played a physical game with the wild last night in Gillette. The game was tied 1-1 in the third period, and the Horns broke away to win the game 4-1. Now the series shifts to Helena, where the Horns will be hosting their first playoff games since joining the NA3HL. Their big concern in coming home to clinch the best of three series is dealing with just how physical Gillette plans to be after losing to Helena.

"All year they've stuck to their game plan," said Bighorns head coach Jon Jonasson. "they're an extremely rough team, they're very physical. If we let them hit, and us not hit back, we'll be in a corner.

"We will come out with the same game plan, and match their physicality all night," said Bighorns forward Brandon Mills. "The big thing is feed off the home crowd and the energy that their giving to us, and take it to them all night."
