Carroll Volleyball Adds Glacier Product

Posted: Updated:

Glacier High standout Brielle Bumgarner has signed a letter of intent to play volleyball for Carroll College.

The 6-0 middle blocker helped lead the Wolfpack to a first-place regular season finish in the Western AA. She also helped lead glacier to a third-place finish in the State AA basketball tournament.

She also earned a third place finish in the long jump at the 2014 State track meet.

"Brielle is a big presence at the net and plays with an aggressive style," head coach Moe Boyle said. "She is a very dynamic hitter that comes from a very successful high school program. She plays with a lot of passion and it is contagious. She is going to be a very strong asset to our team."

Academically, she carries a 3.8 GPA and was named to the Academic All-State team three times.

"Academically she is on par with her athletic ability," Boyle said. "She has interest in health sciences and Carroll is a great fit for her to not only pursue her volleyball career but earn a great degree that will set her up for a great career."

Bumgarner joins four other student-athletes that signed earlier. She joins Rayna Pilgeram and Jenna Starke from Helena Morgan Christy from Alaska and Emily Sullivan from Boise, Idaho who already committed.
