UGF Women's Soccer Announces Recruiting Class of 2015

University of Great Falls women's soccer coach Brian Clarke has announced the eight-member Class of 2015.

“We are very excited about our 2015 class,” Clarke said. “They will add depth in several positions and some will make an immediate impact in our lineup.”

Kaylee Bartley (Arlington, Wash.) is a defender who was a four-year letter-winner for the Arlington High Eagles. She earned both first and second team All-Conference honors and was an All-Area second team pick.

Kayla Cobbett (San Bernardino, Calif.) is a midfielder who competed for the Alta Loma (Calif.) High Braves. Her teams won league titles in 2014 and 2015, and reached the CIF semifinals. She was an All-League honorable mention pick and also competed for the Rancho Cucamonga Celtic Harps club team.

Austyn Daniels (Fort Worth, Texas) is a utility player who competed for the R.L. Paschal High Panthers in Fort Worth. Her team won the bi-district and area championships in 2015. She also played for the Dallas Texans Mid-Cities Girls '97 club team.

Sarah Howell (Polson, Mont.) is a midfielder who earned four letters while competing for the Polson (Mont.) High Pirates. She was a four-year Academic All-State selection and a three-time All-State and All-Conference pick. She was twice named team MVP and won MVP at the 2014 Senior Showcase. She also competed for Polson FC.

Breanna Keller (St. Charles, Ill.) is a midfielder who comes to UGF from St. Charles (Ill.) North High School. She also competed at high schools in Sugar Land, Texas, and Spanish Fort, Ala. Also a star track athlete, Keller's 2012 team finished third at the Alabama state soccer tournament. Her club teams included Campton United, Strike Soccer Club and Eclipse Soccer Club.

Sydney Knierem (Redlands, Calif.) is a midfielder. She earned four letters and was the team MVP while competing for the Redlands East Valley High Wildcats.

Malena Lennon (Minot N.D.), lettered four times in soccer and twice in volleyball for the Minot High Magicians and also played for the Minot Magic Football Club. She was an All-Tournament Team selection in 2014 and an All-West Region Team pick in 2013 and 2014.

Dannielle Rogne (Colville, Wash.) is a midfielder/striker. She earned four letters while competing for the Colville High Indians.

“This group is very competitive and ambitious, and are coming off of great club and high school careers,” Clarke said. “Each player possesses a drive that will make us better for the years to come.”
