Former Saints All-American Receiver Joins Coaching Staff

Posted: Updated:

Carroll College head football coach Mike Van Diest announced the addition of former All-American wide receiver and kick returner Anthony Clarke to join the Carroll staff for the 2015 football season as an offensive assistant.

Clarke, a Blackfoot, Idaho, native and transfer from Boise State, was a four-year starter at wide receiver from 2011-2014. He led the Saints in catches, yards, and touchdowns from 2012 to 2014.

"I am very excited to have Anthony join our staff this fall," Van Diest said. "Anthony will work with Receivers Coach (Tyler) Emmert and the WR's and the passing game. His work ethic and leadership skills as a player will be invaluable to our players."

Clarke joins Travis Andrus, Marcus Mayo and former starting center and team captain Alex Kastens, as new additions to Van Diest's staff. The Saints open the season against defending NAIA National Champion Southern Oregon on Sept. 5th.
