Venue Change: The Fourth Annual Come Out and Play Event with Abby Wambach

Posted: Updated:

Due to inclement weather, the fourth annual "Come Out and Play Event" will be held indoors at Memorial Stadium at Great Falls High located at 1900 2nd Avenue South.

Soccer superstar Abby Wambach will be back in Great Falls for the fourth annual "Come Out and Play Event."

The public is invited to join her on Saturday, Sept. 5th from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. for a free fitness festival at Centene Stadium. Wambach will be joined by Pitch Perfect star Kelley Jakle. The event will include games and fitness challenges run by Wambach, Jakle and members of the Great Falls Voyagers.

Wambach is a two-time gold medalist, the all-time leading goal scorer in international soccer history, and the 2012 FIFA World Player of the Year.

Saturday evening will be Voyagers Fan Appreciation Night. Jakle will sing the national anthem and Wambach will throw out the first pitch and sign autographs for fans. All clinic attendees will be invited to join Wambach and Jakle on the field to sing “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during the seventh-inning stretch.
