Annual Christmas for the Troops Drive

The Montana Supporting Soldiers organization is hosting their annual Annual Christmas for the Troops Drive and is soliciting Christmas care package items for soldiers deployed across seas. The drive will run through Veteran's Day on Wednesday, Nov. 11th.

Collection boxes are located at the following locations:

  • In Great Falls:

Items desired include:

  • Cards and letters of support and encouragement

Montana Supporting Soldiers is a tax-exempt volunteer organization based in Helena that sends care packages throughout the year to deployed troops, military working dogs, and wounded troops in combat field hospitals.

    KFBB is receiving reports of shots fired in Great Falls Sunday evening.  Just before 9:30pm, it was reported that a shot was fired on the 500 block of 22nd Avenue Northeast in Great Falls, near the Walmart Shopping Center.  It is unclear at this time if anyone was injured, or if there is a suspect.
