Fairfield Excited to Host Class B Title Game

Posted: Updated:

This Saturday the Fairfield Eagles will be making their 9th appearance in the class B state title game and have a chance to win their 3rd state title in school history. The Eagles have been absolutely demolishing all their opponents this year with the closest game being a 17 point win over Choteau. The last time the eagles hosted the title game was in 2011 when they won it all, so they're that much more excited to host again.

"Anytime you get deep into the playoffs. If you get to the Semifinal game, and fortunate enough to get into the championship game, it's an exciting thing for your team, your school, your community," says head coach Les Meyer.

"Honestly, we're just super pumped and jacked for this game because it's Huntley and they beat us last year," says Junior Chandler Allen. "And we get to host it. This is the first time since like 2011. So there's just a lot of emotion going through. It's just awesome."
