CMR Product Signs with Lady Argos

Posted: Updated:

Lady Argo soccer added a promising local player to its 2015 recruiting with the signing of CM Russell High School player Briana Brown.

Brown is a 5’5” 2015 Eastern AA All-Conference forward/defender and also a 2015 Academic All-State player. She scored nine goals for the Rustlers in 2015, good for fourth best in the Eastern AA Conference and second best on the CMR team. She also scored two goals and assisted on another as part of the school’s 2014 State Championship team.

“We are excited to have Briana join the Argo family. She is a fierce competitor who has a proven track record of success. Her determination, versatility, and relentless work ethic are intangibles you can’t teach,” head coach Brian Clarke said. “Not only is she a strong athlete, she is also a great student. We look forward to seeing what she can do with an Argo uniform on.”

Brown said she chose UGF because of the school’s strong biology program, the opportunity to realize a life-long dream of playing collegiate soccer, and the ability to stay in Great Falls.

She joins CMR teammate Eme McLaughlin as the first two members for the Lady Argos’ 2015 class. McLaughlin signed with UGF back in the spring of 2015 after an All-State season for CMR.
