In a move to encourage responsible alcohol handling, the Department of Revenue will offer free classes to anyone interested in becoming an instructor on alcohol consumption.
By law, people selling or serving alcohol are required to take a three hour course taught by trainers, while trainers must take an eight hour class in order to be certified.
Certified trainers are not obligated to teach a class however they are able to set up their own courses and charge up to $15 per person.
Interested parties have until March 31 to submit an application.
