Choteau Bulldogs Boy Basketball Team Not Satisfied With 40 Game Winning Streak

Posted: Updated:

The Choteau Bulldogs boys basketball team remains undefeated after two seasons. The Bulldogs are 14-0 after defeating Jefferson on Saturday and are also on a 40 game winning streak, which includes their 26-0 record from last year. Even though the defending Class B state champs are on a winning streak now the teams says it's tackling the season day by day.

"It means a lot obviously to be undefeated," said Bulldogs senior shooing guard Derek Durocher. "Our goal every week is to take one game at a time. Knowing what it feels like to win state last year. State obviously is always on our mind. We can't avoid that. We're just trying to take it one game at a time and hope that leads us to another state championship."

"We preach defense, we preach working hard," said Bulldogs head coach Matt Luedtke. "As long as those kids continue to be bought into that, continue to work hard. I think we'll have a good chance of continuing our success,"
