Posted: Updated:

The Carroll College football team begins its 2016 slate at Nelson Stadium against Montana Tech, the defending Frontier Conference Champions, on Sept. 3.

The game is the first of a ten-game Frontier Conference Schedule that includes home games against Tech, Southern Oregon, Rocky Mountain, MSU-Northern, and Eastern Oregon.

After the opening game against the Orediggers, the Saints travel to Billings to battle it out with the Bears on Sept. 10, followed by another road game where the Saints will travel to Havre, Montana, to take on MSU-Northern.

Sept. 24 marks the Saints homecoming game against Southern Oregon, a team that has traveled the two previous seasons to Daytona Beach, Florida, for the NAIA national championship game.

Carroll's bye week comes on Oct. 1, before they travel to the Treasure Valley to meet the College of Idaho on Oct. 8.

The Saints then play the Orediggers for the second time on the season, this time in Butte, on Oct. 15.

Carroll hosts back-to-back home games, first against Rocky Mountain on Oct. 22, before MSU-Northern comes to Helena on Oct. 29.

The final road game for the Saints will be in Dillon, Montana, against the Bulldogs on Nov. 5.

Carroll closes the regular season with a home game against Eastern Oregon Nov. 12, at Nelson Stadium.
