Jefferson Boys Hoping for Momentum from First Divisional Crown

Posted: Updated:

The Jefferson Panther boys are also riding high after coming off their first ever divisional crown in school history. As they prepare for a round one match up with Florence-Carlton tomorrow at noon. The Panthers have had a solid inside presence all year long with senior Trase LeTexier, and are hoping to ride the momentum of their brand new divisional crown to a state title.

"It's given us a lot of momentum, but one game at a time," said Panthers senior forward Rahkei Eyer. "So we're going to focus on Florence, hopefully get that done and see where it goes from there."

"We're on a six game winning streak, and we're just trying to keep our momentum after divisionals getting that emotional win we got over there, only winning by one," said Panthers senior forward Jered Padmos. "And then hope just keep on pushing forward and sticking to our game plan."
