2016 KFBB to KC: Carroll Men Get Ready for Peru State

The Carroll Saints Men's basketball team tips off their opening game at nationals at 1:15 pm Montana Time when they take on Peru State. The Bobcats were seventh in the country in scoring this past season at about 90 points per game. Led by the Nation's second leading scorer Corday Sims who gets nearly 26 per night, but the Saints are trying not to get too nervous for their first round match up. Instead, staying loose while acknowledging the tough task they have ahead of them.

"They're really good, really talented, they score a ton, they're very difficult to deal with," said Saints head coach Carson Cunningham. "It'll be a fun game, and we're going to give it everything we've got. We'll see what happens."

"We know they're going to play fast and physical," said Saints Fr. guard Matt Wyman. "We know they've got a good scorer. It's going to be a tough task, but we're up for it"

The Saints play this Thursday at 1:15 p.m. Mountain Time.
