2016 KFBB to KC: UGF Argos Prepare for Central Methodist

Posted: Updated:

The Argos will get Missouri--based Central Methodist tomorrow in a game that could be a shoot-out. The Eagles are the third highest scoring team in the country, averaging almost 80 points a game and almost 9 three--pointers made. Central Methodist's Dajonee Hale ranks 6th in the country in points per game and averaging just under 20. UGF gives up around 63 points per game and they will be relying on their defense to hopefully get them past the first round.

"They like to run," said Argo's Jr. guard Nneka Nnadi. "So our coaches put together a really good defensive game plan so we really have to instill our defensive principles and just get after it."

"We're really focused in on just making sure we get back defensively," Argo's head coach Bill Himmelberg. "Their posts like to run the floor, they get up and down pretty good so that's important for us to get back. So we need to make sure we have good match ups at that end"

Game time for the UGF Argos is at 11:30 a.m. Mountain Time tomorrow.
