Great Falls Gladiators Look to Keep Record Undefeated

Posted: Updated:

The Great Falls Gladiators semi-pro football team is on a roll in in the Rocky Mountain Football league so far this season.

The Gladiators currently have a 3-0 record and are ranked #1 in the league's great north conference power rankings. So far they lead the conference in scoring with 118 total points and their defense has only allowed 7 points the entire season. The team won back-to-back league championships in 2010 and 2011 but fell to 0-8 in 2014. This year the gladiators feel they have what it takes to re-emerge as one of the powers in the RMFL.

"Now Being number one puts a target on your back, everybody wants to beat you. Coming together as a team," says head coach Jason Kjono. "The confidence. Knowing each other. Players who played here a long time and new players.  It's just a really good confidence boost for us and a good representative for Great Falls that there is talent in Montana that can play football and coming together and just leading the charge and not leaving any stone unturned."

"For us we're just going to have to keep on practicing," says defensive back/free safety. "It's just going to be all of us working hard and working together and continuing to put in 100%."
