Carroll Volleyball Program Signs Capital's Madi Quick

Posted: Updated:

(Carroll Athletics)  - Helena Capital libero Madi Quick signed a letter of intent to play volleyball at Carroll College, head coach Maureen Boyle announced Monday.

Quick, a three-sport athlete and an eight-time letter-winner comes to Carroll as the Capital High record holder in career digs (940), season digs (472) and match digs (37). She was named Second-Team All-State and a Second-Team All-Conference Libero.

Academically, she is a 4.0 GPA student with eight Academic All-State honors. She was also a residential Award winner and the Helena Education Foundation Distinguished Student.

"Madi brings an exceptional attitude and work ethic both on the court and in the classroom," Boyle said. "She is a proven defensive player, one of the best in the state this season. She has a great energy and we look forward to having her as a member of the Carroll volleyball family."

Quick played basketball and softball for the Bruins to go with her stellar career on the back-line for Capital volleyball. She joins former Bruin teammate Rayna Pilgeram on the Carroll squad.

"We are excited to add depth at the libero position and excited to add her grit and competitiveness tour team," Boyle said. "She is the type that would run through a wall for her teammates and her leadership is off the charts."

She was named a team captain in Volleyball, basketball and softball for her senior year.

"I have always admired the school and the volleyball team," Quick said. "When I was young, I watched them play and wished that someday, I would be able to be a part of something like that. I never thought I would be able to attend Carroll, let alone play volleyball, but now that I have the opportunity, I am going to do everything I can to make sure it doesn't go to waste."

Quick is the second signee of the recruiting class, joining Ayla Carpenter from Graham, Washington. Boyle will look to add at least one more signee to the incoming recruiting class.
