CMR & UGF Graduate Named Centerville's New Athletic Director

Posted: Updated:

Former CMR All-State Softball Player and UGF Standout Outfielder Alex Lowry has been hired as the new Athletic Director at Centerville High School.

Lowry succeeds succeeds Geraldine native Brooke Clark, who chose to change her career.

At 23, Lowry interviewed for the position on the same day she graduated from the University of Great Falls. She will also serve as a health and P.E. teacher at Centerville.

Lowry admits that she doesn't have a lot of athletic director experience but did mention that she has plenty of mentors to guide her. She will also use her decorated athletic background to get the job done.

"I think I'll be relying on that a lot," says the UGF Senior Outfielder. "I'm going to need help. I have a lot of support system. I have a family of educators. My old coach at Gary Ehnes, he was an athletic director. So I've got help so hopefully I can get some good mentors and figure it out."

Alex is the daughter of current CMR Football Head Coach Gary Lowry and her sister Kelsey is an assistant coach for the CMR Softball team. Alex was an all-state shortstop during her time at CMR.
