Zadick Brothers Back in Great Falls for Wrestling Camp
When it comes to wrestling in Montana, two names: Bill and Mike Zadick, have generated headlines across the state, country and the world. And for the second straight summer., they've returned home with another name that is also very well known in wrestling circles.
Legendary Oklahoma State head wrestling coach, John Smith joined the Zadick Brothers to help with their wrestling camp this week at the University of Great Falls. Smith has one of the most decorated wrestling resumes of all-time, which includes being a 4-time world champion and 2-time Olympic gold medalist.
The Zadick Brothers were glad to have Coach Smith join them in passing on life-long lessons to the campers.
"I want to give back to the sport that's given me a lot. And if I can instill some of those values into some of these kids and help to fuel their passion and enjoyment for what they're doing in a positive way then that's kind of the goal," Bill Zadick says.
"And that really is the discipline of the sport. It teaches you a lot. There's an attitude an approach on how to go about the sport. And really it's that motivation within and that discipline. So they take a lot of that from this camp," Mike Zadick added.
The camp runs through June 16th. We'll have much more on the Zadick Brothers, including Bill's thoughts on being named the next head coach of Team USA's Freestyle Wrestling program later this week.
