Broadwater High School hosted a five-day wrestling camp in Townsend, Mt between June 23-29.
Townsend wrestling Coach John O’Dell hosted the camp for kids ages four through 11. About 30 campers learned basic wrestling techniques ranging from stance to the slip-and-tuck take down.
The Rauser brothers, Jade and Vaylen, who combined for seven Montana wrestling state championships, served as guest instructors. Both said they enjoy giving back to the school that molded them into champions.
"To teach them at young age that [wrestling is] fun,” Jade Rauser said. “At the same time, you learn certain life characteristics.”
Campers received Townsend wrestling shirts on the final day of the camp.
