NFL Coach Tom McMahon Hosts Special Teams Clinic in Helena
On Friday, Helena Capital alumnus Tom McMahon held a special teams clinic for the Bruin football players. This is the fifth consecutive year the Helena native has hosted the informal clinic. McMahon, a four year special teams coordinator for the Indianapolis Colts and former Carroll Saints secondary coach, says this year's camp focused on punt coverage and punt return coverage. McMahon also says he loves giving back to the city and community that raised him.
"It's a chance to come back and see the guys that I played with. Kyle McHellish was a sophomore win I was senior. Cam Riggins is the receiver coach we played together. A lot of these guys I've been with my whole life. And come back and be home," said Tom McMahon.
