Electric City Outlaws Preparing for Regionals

Posted: Updated:

The Electric City Outlaws are building a bit of a dynasty in the Senior Babe Ruth ranks.

This past weekend, in the programs fourth year of existence and third as the Outlaws, they beat Missoula for their second straight State Championship. It was the third season in a row the two programs faced off in the title game. The Outlaws now head back to Regionals which begin Wednesday in Quincy, Washington. They'll leave bright and early on Tuesday at four in the morning to make it in time to check in, and then attend a mandatory pizza feed. The teams manager, Dustin Dabler Is pretty pleased at how quickly his program has reached these heights.

"With the group of kids we had, I knew we'd be successful, I just didn't know to what extent. These guys work hard, so they deserve everything they've got. I'm excited for them," Dabler says.

The Outlaws begin tournament play on Wednesday against the second qualifying team from Alberta, Canada. First pitch is scheduled for 1 pm Montana time. We'll have much more on the Outlaws at the beginning of next week.
