Governors talk forest management

Posted: Updated:

Members of the Western Governor's Association coming together to discuss forest management. That includes our own Governor Steve Bullock. In five workshops the governors will come up with plans and ideas for forest and rangeland management practices, and a compromise that could include more logging, while still preserving the lands for tourism and recreation.

The WGA hopes to make a management recommendation to Congress in the future.

Workshop locations include Missoula, Idaho and South Dakota.
