Carroll goes 4-6 for second straight year

The Carroll College football team fell 27-17 to Eastern Oregon on Nov. 12 at Nelson Stadium securing back-to-back 4-6 seasons.

The both teams struggled offensively in the first half, but the Mountaineers edged out a 6-3 lead at the break.

The third quarter saw both teams combine for four touchdowns. JT Linder through two touchdowns in the quarter, but the Saints still trailed 20-17 entering the final quarter.

Carroll was unable to score in the fourth quarter.

This is the first time in Mike Van Diest’s head coaching career his teams have experienced consecutive losing seasons.
