Today the Children's Museum in Great Falls celebrated its18th birthday! But that's not all it celebrated the museum also opened a new area called "Whoville." The artist who developed the play area explained why children need to express themselves in a artistic way .
"Kids need to have an outlet and if they don't have an outlet in a positive way which art can be then they will go a different way and usually that's not positive" said Sheree Nelson.
She said it's rewarding to see the children play and build in the area she created.
If you want to check out "whoville" the museum is open Monday to Saturday 9:30-5:30.
