Biologist To Begin Grizzly Bear Trapping July 15th

GREAT FALLS -

Biologists with the Interagency Grizzly Bear Study team will begin scientific trapping of grizzly bears this weekend. It’s all in an effort to monitor the bears in the Yellowstone ecosystem. Trapping operations will begin in the Hebgen Lake area. The area will be marked with warning signs to let the public know not to enter the area. The trapping will be complete by August 31st.
